Terms
Last updated 11 August 2026
These terms cover your use of the Ray app and this website, both provided by Some Studio UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
Ray is not medical advice
Ray applies well-established research on light, caffeine, melatonin and sleep timing to the trip you enter. It is a planning tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. If you have a sleep disorder, take medication that affects sleep, are pregnant, or have any condition affected by sleep loss, talk to a doctor before changing your sleep or taking melatonin. Never follow a cue that conflicts with medical advice, and do not rely on Ray in any situation where being tired would be dangerous.
Your first trip, and what happens after
Your first trip is free with everything unlocked. After that Ray is $3.99 a week or $39.99 a year. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, renew until you cancel, and can be cancelled at any time in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
Acceptable use
Use Ray for yourself. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and don't use it in a way that breaks the law.
Availability
We aim to keep Ray working and accurate, but we provide it as-is. Flight data comes from a third party and can be wrong or unavailable; always check your actual booking. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Ray.
Changes
We may update these terms as Ray changes. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
Governing law
German law applies, and the courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you a stronger right.
